Religious Education

All children, from Reception to Year 6, study Religious Education (R.E). Through our RE lessons, children learn about Christianity, other World faiths, (such as Islam and Judaism) and also important celebrations and stories from all these religions.

Through R.E. lessons, all children are encouraged to develop tolerance and respect for others. We aim to help them think beyond the everyday, to differentiate between right and wrong and to value the qualities of kindness, compassion and thoughtfulness for others.

Throughout the week, there are both whole school and Key Stage Assemblies, which include singing, prayers and stories and they also celebrate the children’s achievements.
