Geography



Through our teaching of Geography we encourage the children to ask and answer questions about the natural and human world. By studying our locality and comparing it to other countries the children gain a better perspective of the world today and an understanding of the causes and effects of change on our planet.

We use a range of investigative and problem solving activities for both understanding and resolving issues about the environment and its development.

We want the children to think about their own place in the world, their values and their rights and responsibilities towards other people and the environment.
