Drama

All pupils experience Dance, Music and Drama as part of the timetable. Pupils may also study ballet.

Drama is taught to give the children opportunities to develop individually through drama games, improvisation and role play. Formal Drama is an important part of Fonthill Lodge and two major productions are performed, to a very high standard, each year. Pupils take LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) examinations in Acting and the Speaking of Verse and Prose.

School productions: Children from the Nursery upwards take part in the Christmas production and children in Years 4, 5 and 6 participate in the Summer production.
