The Briars - 10th June 2010

On
Thursday 10th June, Year 3 went to The Briars as part of their
Science topic Habitats. The children investigated and compared 3 different
habitats: a woodland, a meadow and a pond. They worked in small groups pond
dipping, looking for evidence of birds and finding minibeasts. The weather
was kind to us, with only a few drops of rain. We then went to
