IAPS Regional Swimming Championships

On Friday, 5th February, 19 children from Years 4, 5 and 6 travelled to Cumnor House School to take part in the IAPS Regional Swimming Championships. All the swimmers did extremely well, swimming their best and they were all great ambassadors of the school. In particular, well done to Willow Plater, Emma Sneddon and Toby Sammarco who all swam for the age group above themselves.

Willow Plater won the U10 girls' backstroke event and Darcy Capps won the U11 boys' butterfly. Georgia Volrath-Dale swam the girls' U11 butterfly very quickly and Amelia Ellis was very strong in the U11 girls' freestyle. The team should all be congratulated and we now wait to see if they have made the finals, which will be held later on in the school year.
