On Wednesday 3rd March, Fonthill travelled away to play St Christopher’s at a game of rugby. In the first half we played quite well but let four tries past us. Ryan, Darcy and Callum made some excellent tackles and Nick and Matthew made some good runs with the ball. In the second half we played much better and St Christopher’s only scored two tries. Darcy scored a try for Fonthill, with the help of Nick Bailey. Thank you to Mr. Simmonds for taking us there.

U9/U8 Girls' Hockey vs. St.Aubyns - by Emma Sneddon (4P) 

On Wednesday 3^rd March the U9/8 girls played St Aubyns at hockey at EGSCC. In the first half, we played well and Scarlett scored three goals, one after the other. Soon after, Harriet scored one goal which made it 4 – 0 to us. In the second half, we scored a goal but it didn’t count because we weren’t in the circle. A few minutes later St Aubyns nearly scored a goal  but luckily Evie saved it. Near the end, Louise dribbled through all the St. Aubyns’ players and got a goal. At the end the score was 5 – 0 to us. Thank you to Miss Bergset for umpiring and Mrs. Clark for driving us over to the Sports Club. And thank you for a lovely match tea.
