Rugby - Fonthill Lodge vs. St. Aubyns

On Wednesday 24^th February Fonthill Lodge Under 9’s and 8’s played St Aubyns at tag rugby.

In the first half St Aubyns scored first, but Joshua got one back for us. We were playing really well and two more tries were added by Max and I.  At the end of the first half the score was 3-5 to St Aubyns, but we had some tries disallowed because we weren’t standing when the ball was put down over the line.

In the second half we had three more tries, two from Thomas Lewis and one from Toby, but St Aubyns had a really fast player who got past us two more times making the final score 6-7 to St Aubyns.

U11/U10 Tag Rugby vs. St. Aubyns - by Callum Champain (6W)

On Wednesday 24^th February, Fonthill travelled to St Aubyns for a game of rugby. In the first half we all played really well but let in three tries and conversions. Nick Bailey made some fantastic runs with the ball and the forwards worked well as a team. In particular, Charlie Amos made some fantastic tackles.

In the second half, we played much better and made some fantastic tackles. However, St Aubyns managed to score two more tries but no conversions and they got a penalty. Darcy made a good run with the ball but didn’t manage to score. The final score was 36 – 0.
