Swimarathon

On Tuesday 18^th March, 8 children from Years 3 and 4 travelled to Cottesmore School to take part in a swimarathon, (swimming continuously for 15 minutes). The children were: Louise Higgs, Toby Sammarco, Emma Sneddon, Willow Plater, Jemima Lee, Toby Amos, Thomas Lewis and Harriet Pratt. The children swam superbly and came a super 2^nd out of 10 schools participating. They swam 45 and ¾ lengths and were only ¼ of a length behind the winners. The children then took part in some games and had tea. Well done to all who swam – don’t forget to collect your sponsorship money. (The children are raising money for Chestnut Tree House, a hospice for sick children in Sussex).
